About ME!

Hello everyone,

My name is Pam and I am a girl. I am in Ruamrudee International School and this is my third years. I am very excited to meet you all from across the world. I am the youngest in my family and also in my generation. I lived with my parents, my older brother, older sister, grandmother, and aunt/auntie. But my family lived in one house while my aunt/auntie lived in another house next to us. My brother is studying at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Me and my sister is studying at this school. December 16 is my birthday! I have lived in Thailand for almost fourteen years. My favorite is everything expect Indian food. Reverse of Flooding in Thailand

This flooding that cause the whole country of Thailand is known as the biggest in Thai's history! Minburi is also one of the areas that were affected. All school were closed due to the safety of student!


In the future, Thailand's economics will grow slower than it used to be and there might be lack of food due to the time for the crops to grow as the demand increase while the supply decrease. Many factories in the industry zones were sunk because of high flood for one or two months, so there will be less crops, materials and food supply than before.


Many people have moved to other place. Some of them moved to other country and some stayed at a condo. But staying at the condo isn't easy as you think because whenever we want to go any where,   we must used the BTS because nobody would want their car to get wet. In Thailand, there are Refugee camp for those whose house are flood and nowhere else to go.


Who: The person that is affected by flood are those whose house are gone and all of Thai's citizen.
What: The greatest flooding in Thai's history
Where: All part of Thailand.
When: This year
Why: I think it was caused by global warming
How: Ice berg melt and flood most of Thailand

Response to Thai innovation article

These are my invention:

• Bubble gun which can shoot bubble at who every in needed like a man on his roof. We can shoot bubble at him according to the speed that we set up from the gun to the person. Then the man that we are rescuing are put in the big bubble and safely land on the dry floor.
  
  
• NaCl Microchip that clean the water from dirty to clean and fresh. Don't need a vacuum cleaner or even hundred of people in order to clean the areas. It gives out:
  hydrochloric acid + sodium hydroxide  -------> sodium-chloride + water
  
  
• Weather Gun is a gun which can turn the areas cold or hot. It has frozen ice and heated warm in them. Its according to what you are using and what is in needed. If you want the area/weather to be warmer then use the warm button and spread the warmer everywhere. But for another situation, if you need it to be colder then you can frozen the area with a rate of ice either big or small.
  
  
• P2Water which can convert pee to mineral pure water ready to drink in case if any families need water. It is a clean and drinkable resource.

My Adventure Flooding Break

This flooding that cause the whole country of Thailand is known as the biggest in Thai's history! Minburi is also one of the areas that would flood. All school that is in any parts of Thailand that might or will flood were closed! The news reported that during the 27 to 31 of October, the heaviest storm which lead to flooding will occur.

This is my first time that I faced and was affected by flooding. My parent knew that our home will flood so they went and stay at the condo, Centre Point (Wireless Road). The condo have a total of 31 floors, but we stay at 29th floor, room 2906. It was a service apartment where you must service yourself. I also have a great experience. After we stay for 3 nights, my mummy phoned the village and they told us that the height of the water was at about our heel. Then one hour passed by, my mummy phoned again and this time, they said it will three meters. But the bad news is that I only bring one school uniform and my p.e uniform. I only though that we would come for only 3-4 days, but we ended up staying for 25 days.

If we wanted to go to somewhere for example, Siam Paragon, we must take the BTS, which I don't normally take them. So this changed and affected my life because now I'm used to take the BTS. They also helped reduced the affected on Global Warming too because pollution are not quite release out to the atomsphere.

And when I go to the supermarket, no egg, no milk, no bread were there. It was all empty! I guessed that people were worried about the food supply so they just brought it in case it did ran out of stock. This also affected my life because there were less food for me and we as a children that are growing.

It affected my life because my family have to pay more money to make the house look perfect as usual. And we must paid unexpected cost of money such as renting a condo.

Car park now are very very hard to find, but luckily at my condo, there have a car pack ready for costumer like us. But we must fight for our car so they won't get wet. My parent find a perfect packing area, it was the highest point of the bridge in front of the condo and the packing areas of the building.

My family and I had donated ten thousands baht to the Red Cross since there were flooding at Ayutthaya. We know that many other people outside are affected lots by flooding so we would like to help them as much as we would.

Now a day, according to the news that I heard, many countries were also flood as such Italy, China and Vietnam. I think it is caused by Global Warming where iceberg were melted and flooded the world.

Identity

Identity describe me as a student because for me being identity in studying is an important facts that I know will affect all of us as a student in Ruamrudee. Identity made me think for a while, what is that mean? Identity for me is basically mean who am I as a person and citizen on Earth. Identity make you feel proud of who are you and it increase your self-esteem, the way you look at yourself.

One of the definition of identity that I think is reliable and apply to me is everyone is unique and different. We all have parts in the modern day, which I think its kind of related to Locke's ideas of equal right and human nature.

The title of the book that I am reading!

Entry #2 (My Reading Reflection)

   The book that I am reading is called Darke - book six (Septimus Heap), which was written by Angie Sage. This book has influenced and reveal my point in reading because this book is about wizard with their powerful spell and magic, which I have hope that one day, I would have those powerful spell. But I know it won't come true because this book is a fiction book, which mean make up story.
 
   My favorite types of book are fairy tales, fantasy, adventure, and most of all, wizard magic book. For example, Harry Potter is another book that I like, but its quite long and the text are small. I like this book even though, this book is very big because the text inside are easy and at the right size for me to read it!

   This book has reveal me as a reader that when I read this book, it make me feel happy and it also make me want to read more. I like these kind of novel and I am looking forward to read more of those book.

Who am I? - Music Video

This is my first LA project this year and I am very excited about how it will look like on my Blog.
From my VDO, I learned many things like how to create a good video and how to use Creative Commons in my music video. First, I had a problem about putting in the MLA and use the Creative Commons, but now I have work it all out. I spent many hours and days doing this VDO so please comments on my work. Blog Entry number one (Metagonition Reflection) LA BLUE

Metagonition is thinking about your thinking. While we play and make the clay into an animal of our choice, I notice that it is kind of hard when you are making an animal with a limited time and that I as well also notice that the strategies that we are using during the activity was "Think aloud". Throughout the activity, I think that the hard part was when we must said our procedure out loud! I learned that my partner don't actually like playing with clay and she built an onion car. Metagonition might help me as a student because it teaches me to think out loud about my steps at a time and it also teaches me how to learn deeply and be flexible in using my knowledge and skills.
